Football Friday Week Two: Meet Dallas Cole!

HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE! Congratulations, you have made it through another long week and the weekend is upon us. Before you get down to any serious celebrating, I have another VERY special edition of OneGuysGuideToGoodReads to share with ya'll. I know you guys are just as excited as I am so here we go: it's Football Friday!! As you guys have undoubtedly heard, I am an avid fan of Cora Carmack and a member of her Street Team, promoting her newest Rusk University series, starting with All Lined Up, coming at ya on May 13! In case you guys aren't good with math, that's only 5 weeks away! FIVE WEEKS! Cora and our amazing crew have decided to reward you, the readers, with a special treat each Friday. I welcome you to our second Football Friday! Each Friday until release day I, along with my fellow Street Teamers and Cora herself, will be giving you guys an insight to six of the books main characters! Last week I rewarded everyone with an insight to our male protagonist, Carson McClain! Without farther adieu, I give you week two of Rusk University Football Friday!

On our second #FootballFriday I am very excited to introduce everyone to Miss Dallas Cole. As you guys have read before, as a member of Cora's Street Team, I have read the opportunity to read All Lined Up, twice now, and let me just say that Dallas is one of my favorite "Cora Gals" yet!

A college freshman, Dallas is really in a sticky situation. Not only does she have to deal with the stresses of her freshman year of college: classes, making friends, partying her face off (oh wait...), but she also has some major personal issues to face. What personal issues can a new college freshman have? Starting out fresh and new in college is one of the most exciting times of a young persons life. Well, turns out it isn't so fun when you are the newly hired Rusk University Wildcats football coach's daughter! Yes you read that right! Dallas is the daughter of the football coach! This would be a fun thing except for a few things. First, Dallas' passion is dance, something her father could never possible accept or understand. Secondly, nobody wants to make friends with Dallas, she is the coach's daughter. Lastly, how is she supposed to enjoy her freshman year when her ex-boyfriend Levi, the star player on the football team is now back in her life after a messy breakup? This is a whole lot to handle for someone who is just trying to enjoy their freshman year of college. Not to mention things only get a little more stressful when Dallas meets Carson McClain (our week one Football Friday character)!

How will Dallas handle all of her stresses, plus balance Carson? Good thing he isn't on the football team, because Dallas will NEVER fall for another football boy after Levi (or so she thinks)! As I'm sure you just put together in your head, there is going to be some confusion around Dallas and Levi's relationship. It makes for lots of good fun and a memorable story! Our street team has not hesitated to put a face to the beautiful red haired heroine that Cora has given us. We needed a beautiful actress, who had sarcasm and awkwardness to boot. Of course the first thing they came up with for Dallas is the amazing Emma Stone. With that in mind, check out a few teasers or All Lined Up, created by a few members of our Street Team!
