In case you guys aren't good with math, that is 6 weeks! SIX WEEKS! Miss Cora and our crew have decided to reward you, the readers, with a special treat each Friday. I welcome you to the first of many Football Fridays! Each Friday for the next six weeks I, along with my fellow Street Teamers and Cora herself, will be giving you guys an insight to six of the books main characters!
On this very first #FootballFriday I have the great honor to introduce you guys to Mr. Carson McClain! I have read All Lined Up and can tell you guys that Carson is a pretty awesome guy. Small town-Texas born and bred! Southern boy with Southern values, intelligence, and a way with the ladies. For all you guys reading this (I know you are out there!), this isn't just another New Adult "romance" series, this is a fast paced story about Freshman Year, Football, and a little bit of a love story (I can't lie to ya, but I promise, it's great)! Here's one (PG rated) picture of what some of my fellow Street Teamers have decided that Carson looks like! Trust me when I say this is probably the ONLY male-friendly picture they have selected of Carson. It's hard being the only guy on a Street Team, lemme tell ya. Anyways, here's Carson as I have been picturing him:
Like I said before, Carson is from a small town in Texas and is a recent transfer to Rusk University (the setting of our story). Carson is a lover of all things football, but also takes school very seriously. Carson walks on the team and is put on as our second string quarterback. They should probably keep their eyes on McClain though, that kid has a bright future ahead of him! Understandably, Carson has a few demons to sort out and things aren't easy for #12, especially after meeting Dallas (you'll learn all about Dallas next week). This series is told through the dual POV so we get to see exactly what is going on in Carson's head more than a few times. As a guy, I really liked that. I think Carson is really easy to relate to and is genuinely a great character! Cora has really outdone herself with Carson! I've been warned not to give you guys too much information, but let me just say that Carson is definitely going to become one of your favorite Cora characters! He has some great lines and enjoys Disney movies and Pizza. I can dig that! I do have to say, though, that in my opinion, the best quality that Carson possesses is his determination and amazing work ethic. You guys will all see that Carson McClain sets his eyes on his prize and does not falter in his campaigns to achieve his goals!

This amazing quote comes from Dallas, our female protagonist, upon seeing our boy Carson shirtless for the very first time. I wasn't going to share this one, but this quote has become a big hit amongst the Team! It's hilarious! Be on the look out for other funny one liners from All Lined Up!
