All the Time in the World

Ahoy book lovers! Ethan here welcoming you all to my new blog One Guy's Guide to Good Reads! I have been an avid reader my entire life, but as of late I have officially become part of the literary community and would love to begin sharing my experiences! Thanks to some amazing new friends and colleagues, I have been introduced to numerous people in the industry both in person, and online. Through this blog I will try to recap some of those experiences and also reflect on the many, many books I have read! I had the great fortune of purchasing a Nook for myself a little over a year ago and since then have read over 200 books. It is amazing what new technology has given us! Check back often for reviews and suggestions to books I have read. I am currently working on a "rating scale" that is customized for me and I plan on adding the guidelines on here soon!

First off though I have to give a shout out to to New York Times Bestselling Author Cora Carmack for introducing me to this crazy world. She has become a source of great inspiration to me and I consider myself an avid fan of hers. I have also had the great pleasure of connecting with her via Twitter and most recently as a member of her Street Team promoting her new Rusk University series which releases the first novel All Lined Up on May 13, 2014! I have already read an ARC of the novel and it is absolutely amazing guys! I will be providing an in depth analysis of the book here soon but for now here is the official Goodreads synopsis:

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Cora Carmack follows up her trio of hits—Losing It, Faking It, and Finding It—with this thrilling first novel in an explosive series bursting with the Texas flavor, edge, and steamy romance of Friday Night Lights.

In Texas, two things are cherished above all else—football and gossip. My life has always been ruled by both.

Dallas Cole loathes football. That's what happens when you spend your whole childhood coming in second to a sport. College is her time to step out of the bleachers, and put the playing field (and the players) in her past.

But life doesn't always go as planned. As if going to the same college as her football star ex wasn’t bad enough, her father, a Texas high school coaching phenom, has decided to make the jump to college ball… as the new head coach at Rusk University. Dallas finds herself in the shadows of her father and football all over again.

Carson McClain is determined to go from second-string quarterback to the starting line-up. He needs the scholarship and the future that football provides. But when a beautiful redhead literally falls into his life, his focus is more than tested. It's obliterated.

Dallas doesn't know Carson is on the team. Carson doesn't know that Dallas is his new coach's daughter.

And neither of them know how to walk away from the attraction they feel.
