City of the Gods: Redemption
Publisher: Self-PublishedRelease Date: December 2015
Genre: New Adult, Paranormal, Fiction
Time is running out. The High Priest is coming. The only obstacle in his way is the Redeemer.
As Katalina reaches her full potential, the rest of her world spirals out of control. Enemies and allies begin to switch sides, causing her to question the loyalty and motives of everyone, even her closest friends.
Our heroes have sacrificed and lost so much, relentlessly battling deceit and injustice. Now is the time to fight as their last and most vital mission draws near.
I live in Southwest Missouri with my awesome husband and our three lively children. My guilty pleasures include, but are limited to, reading whatever I can get my hands on, watching reality TV, singing loudly, and dancing terribly. My real passion is writing. I started writing poetry in high school. Over the years my writing has evolved into creating Urban Fantasies. I get immersed in the lives of my characters, in their struggles and in their triumphs.

“Marcus has the rune,” she replied.
“What does that matter?” Damian asked.
“We found a way to remove the tracking spell and destroy the runes. The only way to destroy them is to do it when they are all together at the same time.” Vivian glanced around the room. She spotted the book she was looking for, picked it up, and handed it to Damian. “The spell is in this book. Say the spell and crush the runes. That’s it.”
Sabine reappeared behind Vivian. Tristan lunged for her, but Sabine just smiled. She waved her hand and he froze once again. She glanced at Damian and then at the book he was holding. She plucked it from his frozen fingers and thumbed through it. She stopped when she got to a certain page. She smirked at Damian as she tore the page out and dropped the book on the floor. She glanced at Vivian and shook her head.
“You haven’t changed a bit. You’re still desperately trying to salvage the mess you’ve gotten yourself into. It won’t work this time.” She paused for a moment, then with a glint in her eye and a smile on her lips she said, “Show me that fire trick with your fingertips again.”
Tears spilled down Vivian’s cheeks as she held up her hand and concentrated on her fingers. Flames sprang to life.
“Good girl. It’s just as good the second time around,” she complimented. Without another word she set the paper on fire.
“No!” Vivian screamed. She grabbed for the burning paper in Sabine’s hand, but Sabine pulled away before she could claim it. Sabine dropped it on the floor and stepped behind Vivian.
“Any last words you want to say to your brother or ex-lover?” she asked.
“I love you. I’m sorry,” Vivian whispered. Her head hung in shame.
“Touching,” Sabine said and then they gone. The spell was broken once again. Tristan stumbled for the burning page, but it was no use. There was nothing left but ash. He glanced at Damian.
“What are we going to do now?”
Damian didn’t respond, instead he was staring at something across the room. Tristan heard a noise that sounded much like a footstep. He turned to find Katalina standing behind the book filled desk. She was staring back at them. Her eyes wide with either shock or amazement, Tristan couldn’t tell.
“I, uh…holy shiznit! I can teleport!” Katalina exclaimed.
