Sarah Negovetich

Sarah Negovetich knows you don't know how to pronounce her name and she's okay with that.

Her first love is Young Adult novels, because at seventeen the world is your oyster. Only oysters are slimy and more than a little salty; it's accurate if not exactly motivational. We should come up with a better cliché.

Sarah divides her time between writing YA books that her husband won’t read and working with amazing authors as an agent at Corvisiero Literary Agency. Her life’s goal is to be only a mildly embarrassing mom when her kids hit their teens.

Cast lists for books can be fun since they let readers get a better picture of who the author is really picturing when they write each scene. Add to that the recent flood of YA novels being made into movies and TV series, and it’s almost a requirement to have a cast wish list these days.

That said, this was so hard for me. My characters are real people in my head, but their personalities are the parts that I have the easiest time describing. Although I do know what they look like, it’s more like the way you describe someone from a dream. Lots of vague details and everything’s a bit fuzzy around the edges.

Also, I don’t watch TV and only go to the movies to see book adaptations, so I am the worst at naming the latest young Hollywood stars. I literally know nothing about the actors below, but they look the closest to how I picture my characters in my head.

Emma Roberts as Rebecca

Young, innocent and more than a little naive. Rebecca may not know how the real world works outside of the careful life her mother has constructed, but she's about to get a crash course inside the PIT

Alexander Ludwig as Eric

Handsome, charming and destined for greatness. Eric has the world at his fingertips. All he needs is the perfect girl to be his perfect match, and he's got his eyes set on Rebecca.

Micah Williams as Daniel

A natural protector who's easy going and easy on the eyes. Daniel is burdened by what he knows and the secrets he carries, but the PIT may offer just the redemption he needs to finally forgive himself.

Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting as Elizabeth

Loud, opinionated and in charge of whatever group she's in. Elizabeth knows better than most just how unfair life can be. She might come across as uncaring, but hurt the people she loves and find out just how much she cares.

Josie Loren as Molly

The calm, quiet, mother figure. Molly is a girl of few words, but when she speaks you'd be wise to listen. She might let the others be the decision-makers, but when the chips are down Molly is ready to do what's right no matter who tells her differently.

So how did I do? Is this who you pictured? If not, what changes would you make if you were the casting director? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
